It is always wonderful to see a
child in poverty thrive as a result of a decision to sponsor child in
the

Many people are less aware of
one of our childrens
charities -
ActionAid than
perhaps some other child sponsorship charities. We recommend Action Aid
as they work particularly hard to keep overheads to a minimum so as
much as possible of your donation is spent on the child that you
sponsor. Now that makes sense. Follow our link for more. |
There is always a lot you can do
to help with disaster
relief charities. The Red Cross in particular, with its global
reach is a very active charity in providing support to the needy after
natural disasters or where there is chronic poverty, disease and
deprivation. You do not need to spend a lot per month to help with a
charity donation. |
The NSPCC has a current
very visible campaign underway aimed at reducing child abuse and
developing a zero tolerance approach while bringing any potential abuse
into the foreground. They are always in need to funding for this huge
programme, please check out their website. |
